You’re getting an A rating, so it’s a contender with my number 3 model in terms of efficiency, and of course pretty cheap to run. The cycles are simple, straightforward and easily selected at the touch of a button. You don’t need to be a genius to work this one.

The Soak and Intensive cycles breeze through the tougher stains you might make, though if you’re happy to take your time, the Eco cycle will give you the same great results at a fraction of the cost. You’re getting all the usual bits like the Cutlery Basket and the Adjustable Racking, so if you’ve got some awkward items to squeeze in, it couldn’t be simpler with this Hotpoint.
