My winner is a tall model, measuring 145cm, it has plenty of room for all of your frozen goodies. My favourite thing about it is the freezer guard technology. This means you can store it in temperatures as low as -15°C, so it's great for a garage or basement. Inside you're getting 5 compartments, so you'll have no trouble separating your peas from your ice cream.

It's frost free, meaning any ice build up will automatically be melted away. You'll never have to waste time defrosting again. You'll be able to make great use of the fast freeze setting too. This rapidly lowers the inside temperature so that any new food added will be frozen in no time.

With an A+ energy rating, it'll be cheap to run too- you can spend more money filling it up!

With an A++ rating for energy efficiency this Siemens model is by far the most efficient on my list. It'll cost just over £25 a month to run, which is much cheaper than an older, less efficient model. You can spend more money filling it up! You're getting a huge capacity of 195 litres, so it's great if you have a lot of mouths to feed.

Like my winner, this model's frost free. This means ice will never have the chance to build up inside, so you'll never have to waste time defrosting. Another handy feature is Vita Control. Basically, it senses the temperature inside and makes sure it's consistent across all of the compartments. There are 5 drawers and 1 pull down flap, as well as an ice tray and integrated ice pack in the door. 

Another great function is Super Freeze. It quickly lowers the temperature to make sure any new food added is frozen in no time, locking in all the flavours and nutrients.  

This model's perfect if you've got a lot of bods in your house. The massive 277 litre capacity will have no trouble holding your weekly frozen food shop. It has 7 compartments inside, as well as 2 special Soft Frost compartments in the door. They're slightly warmer than the rest of the freezer, so are ideal for storing ice cream. You won't have to leave it on the side to melt before you scoop it out. 

What's great about this model is the Twist and Serve ice maker. Just fill it up with water, wait for it to freeze, then turn the dial to make ice cubes. You can say goodbye to wobbly ice trays! 

You're getting some really handy functions too. Take the Fast Freeze setting for example- it quickly lowers the inside temperature so any new food added will be frozen in no time. Add this to the handy open door alarm and you've got yourself a really nifty appliance.

My number 4 is another tall freezer, measuring 175.5cm in height. What's brilliant about it is the fact that you can store it in your garage as it’ll withstand temperatures as low as -15°C.  It’s great as an overspill or if you don’t have enough room in your kitchen. It’ll hold 210 litres of space, spread over 5 drawers and 2 shelves that have a flap.

It's frost free, so you won't have to defrost it manually, and you get a fast freeze compartment like on the others in my list, so you can chill your food that’s been out of the freezer down really quickly. It also has an ice bank like you’ll have seen on some of the others too, which is the perfect place to keep your ice cube trays flat.

At 175cm tall, this Hotpoint has loads of space for a large family’s weekly frozen food shop. You get a 220 litre capacity spread over 7 compartments, so you can easily separate your frozen peas from your tubs of ice cream. 

You also get an A+ rating for energy efficiency, so it’ll only cost you around £36 a year to run. Thats much cheaper than an older, less efficient model. The Super Freeze function is great too. It’ll quickly drop the inside temperature, so any new food added will be frozen in no time.

What’s great about this Hotpoint is its frost free technology. It makes sure there’s no build up of ice anywhere inside, so you’ll never have to waste time defrosting again.  The door’s reversible too, so it’ll suit any kitchen layout.
