Anti Crease Programme An anti crease programme is when the drum continues to turn at the end of the cycle to help to help prevent tangling and makes ironing easier
Audible End of Programme At the end of the tumble dryer cycle an alarm sounds to alert you that the dryer has finished

Built in - Integrated A built in – integrated tumble dryer is supported by your existing kitchen units and placed behind your cupboard doors, not changing the look and feel of your kitchen

Child Safety Lock A good safety feature which ensures that the appliance cannot be opened by your child
Condenser In a condenser tumble dryer the water is expelled during the cycle and is collected in a container which can then be emptied at a later time
Control Panel Type The type of controls which are displayed on the front of the appliance

Drum Interior Light When the tumble dryer is opened an interior light can make it easier to see what you are doing and assist you while doing the laundry
Drying Capacity The amount of clothes which can be dried effectively during one cycle in the tumble dryer
Drying Load (Kg) The bigger the drying load the more clothing you will be able to fit into the tumble dryer, choose a larger load if you have a larger family

Easy Iron Programme This is a specific programme which uses intelligent technology to relax the fabrics in your laundry, a great feature which will lead to less creasing making the ironing a quicker job
Energy Efficiency An energy efficient tumble dryer cost less to run and is friendlier to the environment
Energy Rating The rating given to a tumble dryer, the highest rating currently is A, which will save you money while being kinder to the environment
Energy Recommended These appliances have been recommended by the Energy Saving Trust and are the most efficient models available

Filter Full Indicator When the filter is full of fluff a light will appear on the front panel of the tumble dryer to warn you to empty the filter as it is now full
Freestanding A freestanding tumble dryer is a model which can stand alone and does not need to be supported by a kitchen unit
Fuzzy Logic An intelligent technology which uses sensors in the drum to measure the moisture in the laundry. When the clothes are dry the cycle will automatically end

High - Low Drying Settings This option gives you more flexibility and ensures your laundry is effectively dried how you want it, for example if a load is partially dry you can opt for a low heat setting to help complete the drying process

Noise Level (dB) The noise level is how loud the appliance is while it is in use. A tumble dryer with a lower noise level will be less disturbing to your daily routine

Refresh A handy programme which will refresh the fabrics of your laundry without completing a full cycle
Reverse Action A reverse action prevents clothing from tangling and creasing by loosening the clothing as they are drying
Reverse Drum A tumble dryer with a reverse drum can turn in both directions, clockwise and anti clockwise

Spin Speed (RPM) This is the speed at which the drum spins at, measured in revolutions per minute. A faster spin expels more water from the clothing during a tumble dryer’s cycle
Sensor Drying This is a drying programme which allows the user to select the desired dryness. Sensors in the drum measure the moisture in the laundry and cleverly alter the cycle accordingly

Time to End of Programme This is a display on the tumble dryer which shows how much time there is remaining until the end of the cycle
Timer The timer allows you to set how long you require a cycle to last
Top Loading A top loading tumble dryers is a dryer which loads from the top of the appliance

Variable Temperature This gives you the freedom to change the temperature of the cycle if you wish to do so allowing you to customise each wash to suit your specific needs
Vented This type of tumble dryer vents the water expelled during the cycle outside, through a ventilation hose

Water Bottle Full Indicator When it is time to empty the water reservoir a light on the front of the tumble dryer panel will indicate that it is full and will remain on until it has been emptied
Wide Opening Door Making it more convenient for you to load and unload your laundry a wide opening door allows you to handle bulky items more easily
