If you’re a regular Friday giveaway entrant or a Yossette, you’ll know exactly what the title of this blog’s alluding to. No idea what the Friday giveaway is? Don’t worry, I’m here to fill you in.

Last Friday, Appliances Online gave away a brand new LG washing machine. Yes, you heard right, they gave it away free of charge! One lucky winner told us which famous figure wore a certain famous outfit and took home the F1479FDS5 6 Motion™ TrueSteam™ washing machine. Not bad for 2 minutes work!
This week, we’re doing it all again... but BIGGER AND BETTER. Yossi’s dug out some more photographs of famous outfits and we want you to tell us who they belong to.
The prize – the LG F1443KDS. Not only does this washing machine have everything last week’s prize has – LG’s 6 Motion™ wash technology, Truesteam™ programmes, and Direct Drive™ motor – it also has a huge 11kg drum. You couldn’t ask for any more from a washing machine.
To be in with a chance of taking this beauty home, simply enter our competition via our Facebook page. Every day at lunch time, 12pm to be precise, Yossi will be uploading a new photograph of a well known outfit. Choose which celebrity that outfit belongs to from one of the multiple choice answers below the photo, and you’ll be entered into our draw.
Each photo will remain on the Facebook page for 24 hours only, so make sure you don’t miss it. Enter every day to bump up the odds of a win.
The winner will be announced on Friday 9th March at 4pm. Get guessing, there’s no time to waste.

Are you guilty of a crime against fashion? Perhaps you’ve been papped in some faded jeans that were once black? How about bobbly woollens? Even worse, the cardinal sin of grey whites?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you need to enter our Friday giveaway competition. We’re giving away the washing machine of your dreams – one to make all those fashion mishaps a thing of the past. Never again will you be caught out in a threadbare t-shirt because this washing machine uses 6 unique drum motions and LG’s TrueSteam™ technology to keep clothes in perfect condition.
And for those style gurus whose clothes always look top notch, enter our competition anyway. It’s definitely worth a go. You could end up winning the F1479FDS5, LG’s brand new washing machine.
All you have to do is scour your fashion memory files and tell us which famous face wore which famous outfit. Each day the infamous Yossi will upload a new photograph onto the Appliances Online Facebook page, and we want you to tell us who the famous outfit belongs to. Are you following? So, let’s say there’s a picture of a redhead in a Union Jack dress... the answer would be Geri Halliwell, obviously.
Don’t worry if your fashion knowledge isn’t the best, we’re going to give you a little extra help. There’ll be a few answers to choose from so you can’t get it wrong – the correct answer will be right there on the screen in front of you. What’ve you got to lose? Go on, enter. You know you want to!
Don’t forget, Yossi will be changing the photo everyday at 12pm (lunch time) so you can enter every day if you want. The more you enter, the more chance you have of winning.
The big giveaway will take place HERE on Friday 2nd March. See you then.

Breaking news! As of yesterday, the football transfer window is now closed:
During this year’s transfer window, Sulley Muntari has switched allegiance in Milan, with AC having snapped him up from their arch-rivals Inter. Sunderland have finalised the signing of full-back Wayne Bridge from Manchester City on a loan deal for the rest of the season. And AC Milan have apparently reopened negotiations over a dramatic late swoop for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez!
Hmmm I wonder who all these people are? You can probably guess that I’m not the world’s greatest expert on football. But, what I do know is that I spend a lot of time working out outside, getting just as muddy and grass stained as any footballer! And if it weren’t for the tailored sports wash cycles on my washing machine protecting my kit, clothes and trainers, I don’t know how I would manage. I would be constantly replacing my sportswear, which just isn’t practical.
If you are as keen on keeping fit as I am, it’s vital you have a washing machine that knows how to correctly wash your expensive sports gear, keeping it in tip-top condition for your next extreme work out. Washing machines these days come with fantastic programmes tailored to washing anything from water proof jackets to muddy trainers; these include outdoor wear programmes, sports intensive options and sports light options.
Having the correct sports gear up a mountain, on the football pitch or when you’re out for a run can mean the difference between getting the most out of your active day or being too hot/cold, uncomfortable and miserable. The right washing machine with the right wash programme is the difference between your quality workout clothing enhancing your performance or letting you down just before the finish line.
Indesit washing machines such as the IWE81281K even offer a Special shoes cycle which uses a slow gentle wash that cleans your mucky trainers, without damaging them or the surface of the drum.

If you’re into keeping up appearances, this season’s cooking appliances are not to be missed. Combining effortless beauty with up to the minute technology, these new kids on the block are so nifty they’re worthy of a place in Hyacinth's kitchen.
"The Bouquet residence, the lady of the house speaking!"
No need to shout about your new appliances, with a centrepiece as good looking as the Whirlpool AKR804/IX Island Cooker Hood, it’ll be the first thing the neighbours spot.

Designer lighting? No. An efficient cooker hood with 3 variable venting speeds.
Candlelit suppers on the cards? Forget about a lengthy wait for dinner. With the immediate response you get from the Siemens IQ-700 EH679ME11 Induction hob, those fillet steaks will be seared in seconds. Your guests will be too busy wondering where you keep the Mercedes, sauna, and room for a pony.

Why not melt some chocolate for dessert and wow them with just how fast this bad boy is?
The periwinkle china’s laid out in the dining room; all that’s left to do is cook the soufflés. Keep your cool, because the Smeg Linea-elite SCP115 electric oven will literally do it for you. There are 10 automatic cooking programmes which know exactly how much heat to use for different dishes so you’ll never be caught short. Simply allow the smart chef function to automatically adjust the temperature and cooking time, and it’ll cook those soufflés perfectly.... do make sure you take all the credit, of course!

The glass finish on this beauty could pass for a bespoke mirror.
And when they've all left, the pyrolytic cleaning fucntion on this oven takes all the hard work away. Just switch it on, and your oven will look brand spanking new again.
They'll never know!

New Year’s resolutions. How many of us actually stick to them? I’ve made a few over the past couple of years; eat healthy, go to the gym more, and clear my debts. If like me you’re making the same ones each and every year, then it’s clear we aren’t sticking to them in the first place.
So this year I’m not making any, I just plan a change of lifestyle. I want to eat healthy, but my lifestyle has me buying more frozen foods as I like to shop less and stock up more.
My fridge freezer is quite outdated. I buy fresh foods and have to eat them in order of expiration date rather than choice. For the time that my old appliance has been very loudly storing my food, there’s been a ton of advances in cooling technology that can really help with fresh eating.
Supercooling lowers the temperature inside the fridge to quickly chill foods to their best temperature they will keep at. If it takes you half an hour to come back from the shops, your meats and fish won’t be as cold as they were in the supermarkets so this feature’s perfect to preserve and extend their shelf life.
Multi-flow pumps cold air into every level of the fridge, helping to give it an even temperature throughout. I’m hopeless at storing things in the ‘right place’, and when I come in with bags of food I just want to chuck it in and be done with it. I’d love to have the multi-flow to be able to store food where I want and know it will share the same conditions as everything else inside.
Water dispensers not only look cool, but encourage us to drink more water. It’s quick and easy when you need to quench your thirst, and never having to open the fridge door to get a drink means your foods will remain undisturbed.
Independent cooling zones are independent to the fridge, and usually referred to as a fridge within a fridge. They work to a low 0°C; one degree higher than the freezing point so will increase the life of meats and vegetables even longer.
All these features work together to change the way we eat. Here’s to 2012 and a fresher life!
My new resolution for this year: buy a new fridge freezer. The Samsung RL58GPEIH if anyone’s feeling generous ;-)
