Ready Steady Cook!

How many of us sit down and watch Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver or Delia Smith cooking delicious meals on the TV? How many of us actually take the time to prepare them ourselves? Not that many. Many of us just like to observe but why not become more involved? There are lots of features on appliances which make it easier to prepare delicious dishes why not use the following to enhance your cooking?A slow cook feature is a brilliant cooking option. It performs in the same way as a freestanding slow cooker continuously heating the meal over a longer period of time. Why not try the following recipe for an Italian beef stew;Recipe Ingredients

4 carrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 large onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings.

2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp instant beef bouillon
1 cup uncooked macaroni

Add all of the ingredients except for the pasta into a casserole dish with a lid. Transfer dish into the oven. Cook on a low setting (or use the slow cook setting on your cooker) for 7 - 9 hours. Add pasta and stir to blend. Cover and continue cooking for 30 minutes until pasta is done.

Voilà… a delicious one pot meal to serve up to 4 people!

Or how about choosing Gas as your fuel type. Gas ovens are ideal for bakers as food is kept moist and can add to preparing some really delicious treats. Why not try the following recipe for delicious cookies;
