Cooking site 'connects people with food'

A new website has been launched that aims to encourage consumers looking to get to grips with their new ovens and hobs.

Visitors to iwannacook.com can expect to be given access to a range of recipes and meal ideas, as well as contributions from a number of branded manufacturers including Dolmio, Uncle Bens and Seeds of Change.

The creators say the online portal will inspire home cooking by advising on the best ingredients people can buy to stock in their fridge-freezer.
It adds the service is also "the perfect platform for companies to engage with the UK's at home chefs through its free recipe submission service".

Although the site is still in its beta format, it is currently functional and could provide cooks the kick start they need to make the most of their new appliances.

Those looking for a new hob to partner their oven could consider the Bosch PIE611T14E, which has touch-sensitive controls for its four electric zones.
