Consumers could soon be shopping for a range of award-winning products as the search for the best foods of 2009-10 begins this month.
As part of the Wales the True Taste Food & Drink Awards for this year, judges will look at some of the produce that has been helping oven and hob users create the tastiest dishes over the past 12 months.
Described by the event organisers as "the Oscars of the food and drink industry", the competition is being supported by celebrity chef Bryn Williams.
As an advocate of Welsh ingredients and home-grown produce, Mr Williams said his endorsement was based on helping find the best foods around for cooks and enthusiasts.
"I already use many True Taste Award-winning products in my restaurant and I am proud to shout about good quality local Welsh ingredients."
