If your reading this in a Father’s Day related panic, then I assume you’re one of the many who have just walked past Clinton’s and suddenly noticed the signs that have been adorning shop windows for weeks, or it has only just dawned on you that the 21st June is actually this weekend. If so, here are a few Father’s Day ideas that require minimal time and effort on your part (although will require you to open your wallet and help ease those guilty consciences)…

Most Dads like to believe they are something of the wine connoisseur (even if most of their collection does consists of Sainsbury’s half price promotions), for all those Dad’s a wine cooler would really give the illusion they know what they’re talking about!
Or if your Dad is an appliance & gadget lover, a big bad man-fridge would probably be well received. The Samsung RSH1DBBP American fridge freezer, may be a wee bit more on the expensive side, but if you are looking to impress then this is definitely the way forward; it is frost free, comes with a water dispenser and an open door alarm – what more could you want?!
If your dad is one of those men that believes swirling a bit of hot water briefly around a cup counts as washing up, then maybe a dishwasher would be a useful gift, for the sake of his and everyone else’s health! An easy solution would be a Zanussi table top dishwasher, so you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to fit it.
If none of the above dad gifts have sparked your imagination, or you were looking for a more low cost Father’s Day present, an Oxfam Unwrapped gift card is ideal in any situation – not only will you both be doing a good deed, but you can pick them up from as little as £8, and if he really meant what he said when he claimed there was ‘nothing he wanted’ and ‘don’t buy me a present, Father’s Day is pure commercialism’, he should love it!
