What is the difference between a tumble dryer condenser and a vented tumble dryer, and which is best for you?

The short version is that a tumble dryer condenser collects water from the cycle in a container that can be emptied after the wash, which means it doesn't need to be placed next to an exterior wall, so can go anywhere in the home. For this reason it tends to be the more popular choice, as it is the perfect apartment dryer.
The vented tumble dryer produces damp air which can then be expelled through a vent or a window – which as obviously means it has to placed against an exterior wall.
So now you know.
If you live in an apartment and are looking to save even more space by, say, getting rid of the ironing board (would make life so much easier) then consider the AEG steam dryer. The steam programmes on the machine smooth the creases out of fabrics to such an extent that most of the time there is no need to iron your garments afterwards. This clever little feature can also be used to refresh clothes, for example clothes that are labeled dry clean only. So if you have an interview which calls for your best suit but you don’t have time to take it to the dry cleaners, just pop it in the dryer and it will come out as fresh as a daisy (well nearly!)
