Refresh your clothes in the tumble dryer

Now that winter is undoubtedly here many of us will be unpacking our winter clothes from storage. Even if your jumpers were clean and fresh when you put them away, 6 months later they may come out smelling a little bit musty - especially if they’ve been kept in a garage, loft or the back of the wardrobe.

There is a simple way to freshen up clothes without having to do a full wash. Simply put them in your tumble dryer on the refresh programme.

“Refresh” gently tumbles clothes airing them and getting rid of any stale odours. It can also be useful for dry-clean only clothes, preventing costly, time-consuming trips to the dry cleaners.

Many new models come with this “refresh” feature, including the Indesit IDV65 vented tumble dryer. This tumble dryer comes with a 6kg capacity, 15 programmes and two drying temperatures. It’s the perfect specification for a family of three or four.
