Wet weather got you down? You need a large tumble dryer

As you return, once again, from the daily commute drowned, sorrowful and cursing the Great British weather, turn your thoughts to clean, freshly tumbled, dry clothing and smile.

During the wet weather a larger capacity tumble dryer can be your best friend because, let’s face it, you’re definitely not going to be pegging out your washing.

When buying a dryer to compliment your washing machine it is wise to consider purchasing a large tumble dryer. A tumble dryer will not be as effective at drying 7kg worth of clothes as a washing machine is at washing them. So by upgrading the size of your tumble dryer you ensure you can dry the entire laundry load in one go – particularly useful in the winter months when drying outside isn’t an option.

When you’re deciding on a tumble dryer to accommodate your washing load choose one that is 1-2kg bigger than your washing machine. The Hotpoint TCM570 large tumble dryer, for example, with its 7kg capacity would perfectly suit a 5-6kg washing machine. Then all your clothes will be warm, dry and ready for you to face the rain again.

If you haven't the space for a separate tumble dryer consider a 7kg washer dryer instead.
