For the smaller kitchen a compact cooker is an absolute necessity. When the majority of appliances are 60cm wide you may be struggling to find an appliance that fits. However there are several smaller compact cookers in the market to complement kitchens which are "spatially challenged".

One smaller cooker is the SG562W from Beko. These Beko gas cookers come with a range of functions at a very appealing price. For example the SG562W has a slow cook function, built in grill and conventional oven, but it is just 50cm wide - fitting into a smaller space much more easily.
Smaller cookers like these are still perfectly capable of catering for a small family, however for larger households you may wish to invest in a double oven, or one with a separate grill.
Other benefits of Beko gas cookers are their gas hobs. Gas hobs are very responsive unlike electric hobs, which have benefits for boiling and frying as you can instantly adjust the temperature. However, they aren't usually as safe as electric hobs due to the naked flame and the possibility of gas leakages.
Conventional gas ovens offer zoned cooking, which means they are hotter at the top than at the bottom. The centre of the oven is the area with the optimum temperature for cooking but if you're cooking several parts of a meal at the same time (i.e. meat and Yorkshire puddings), you can chose different areas for cooking depending on the heat.
