Eco friendliness and going green are buzzwords for twenty-first century living. Whatever our motive, be it cost or conscience, watching the amount of energy we consume helps to conserve our natural environment and make the world a better place.

There are many hundreds of resources available to find out how you could make your life greener and here are five of the best blogs I’ve found...
1. The Go Green Blog
My personal favourite post at the Go Green Blog is “Turn Dryer Lint into Paper”. Not only can you benefit from regular cleaning of your machine by making it more efficient, you can have some fun recycling the fluff from your clothes.
2. Forum for the future, the editor’s blog
This is the personal opinions of the people at Forum for the Future. Forum for the Future is an independent, non-profit organisation with a mission to promote sustainable development. They work with BP, Pepsico and Vodafone.
3. Guardian green living
From bicycle mug holders to green holidays, this blog features some of the most innovative ideas on how we can all live a greener life, and the challenges facing us.
4. About my planet
A focus on delivering green news and tips with a down to earth approach that anyone can apply to their daily life.
5. Sustainablog
Since July 2003, sustainablog has been providing information on environmental and economic sustainability, green and sustainable business, and environmental politics. The blog regularly features environmental leaders, experts in alternative energy and green technology, and real people trying to lighten their environmental footprints.
If you have your own favourite green blog, post it below.
