The size of tumble dryer you choose should be largely related your household size and the capacity of your washing machine.
7kg tumble dryers are a good choice for the smaller family as they can hold the full load from a 5 or 6kg washing machine. Remember that when you choose your tumble dryer to go 1-2kg larger than your washing machine as drying requires more free space in the drum to be effective.
A 7kg tumble dryer’s is about 25-30 man’s shirts, so it is a fair load size and will cater for up to four people. Larger families will most likely require a larger model.
