Today’s review comes straight from Geof777 of Surrey who bought a Baumatic BFWE1470W not so long ago. The only changes I’ve made have been to tweak the spelling once or twice. After the review I’ve written a few notes in answer to it and you should feel free to do the same by posting a comment.
“This is a straight forward washing machine. It’s lovely and quiet - in fact the patter of clothes is louder than the rotating drum in wash mode. The pump is louder than the washing. Spin is the quietest we have owned - and ours is on an amplifying wooded floor.
It has a cheerful little sound when you start it up and when you select your programs.
It is direct drive and very efficient.
If you have a heap of towels or something lumpy and it starts to spin unevenly - it quickly does a change somehow - using its intelligent programme and responsive direct drive motor - to even up the load.
So far this seems an excellent machine.
My only small gripe is that the Eco program is 60° only - we would have liked a 40° option.
Another nice little feature is a time save button which reduces the standard times of a programme.
He’s right about the Eco mode only running at 60 but there is the option to run other programmes at lower temperatures.
