The Taste festivals are an international phenomenon that bring together top chefs, local producers and a lot of hungry people. This summer AEG are joining in and giving festival goers in Edinburgh and Birmingham a chance to get hands on experience with their appliances in a Taste cookery school. If you want to see the difference an induction hob makes or gain a practical appreciation of an AEG steam oven then this is your chance.
On a less practical but more glamorous note they’ve also partnered with the London festival to present Taste Theatre; a series of events which sees top chefs sharing their secrets and showing off their skills. This year’s line up includes celebrities like Heston Blumenthal, Gary Rhodes, Antony Worrall Thompson and Rick Stein as well as less famous but equally excellent chefs Gary Lee (head chef at The Ivy), Alfred Prasad (whose Michelin starred restaurant has been in the Best in Britain- Top 10 Restaurants in the UK every year since 1995) and Theo Randall (chosen as one of the world’s 100 most promising chefs in Coco).
