A quick reminder that there are only two weeks left to win a Belling Media Chef in our anti-World Cup competition. To enter go to our competitions page and tell us what you think is better than the world cup. Entries vary from the sentimental to the downright cheeky. To give you a flavour of what we’ve got so far I’ve picked a few at random.
Jenny Price - Managing to drive round easily and shop in peace when the matches are on. We drove round Rome whilst the Italians were playing in the last European cup - brilliant.
Nichola Jones - I look forward to getting up in the morning and relieving the pressure from my bladder...much more exciting than ruddy world cup.
Delyth Roberts - Wimbledon of course.
Maya Russell - When my daughter was born she weighed 11 lbs. It was a wonderfully, BIG surprise! Having a baby is undoubtedly better than the World Cup!
Chris Fox - A warm seat, a good book and some really soft toilet paper.
