This week’s review comes from Technoman who is aged between 45 and 54 and has a small family in Kent. As usual we’ve reproduced the entire review and only made minor grammatical changes.
This is a very succinct review but that’s exactly how most people write them – short and to the point. The product in question is an AEG D3101-6-B double oven.
This oven replaced an AEG Competence oven that was 20 years old!!! The build quality is equally as good, very quiet, easy to use, great to see what you are cooking. May be dearer than some other models but well worth the money. Only annoying factor is they do not supply a proper grill pan with handle but that said, the instructions say you must grill with the door shut.
It’s a good point that the grill function on many modern ovens is designed to be used with a closed door. This is because, from an engineering point of view, it makes them more efficient as heat stays inside the cavity rather than just rolling out of the front.
