Taking time out -

A few weeks ago I wrote a How to Friday about buying appliances for holiday cottages that was inspired by a friend of mine. Well I met up with that same friend and after the usual work-talk catch up (she talks about family holiday cottages in Launceston, I talk about pyrolytic ovens, she talks about surf accommodation in Newquay, I decide I need a holiday) we got on to the World Cup.

It turns out that England leaving the competition early has meant a rush on holidays because everyone had been waiting for the football to finish before booking time away.

And at the same time that people are booking time off work we’re making it easier for you to enjoy it by offering next day delivery on orders made before 6pm.

So if your washing machine breaks down on Friday and you’re flying somewhere nice on Sunday there’s still enough time to order a replacement after work, get it delivered (and installed) and make sure all your clothes are clean in time to enjoy your holiday!

However I should point out that this is not a summer promotion – it’s something we’re planning on keeping up all year round.
