Another distraction from Electrolux

Electrolux seem determined to distract me this month. As well as announcements about the Design Lab they’ve also been busy making playful websites.

If you get a minute to spare I’d recommend checking out Kelly Ripa’s Banana Split. It’s built for people from the USA who can win a set of cooling appliances when they design a banana split using the website. Despite being ineligible to enter and not knowing who Kelly Ripa is I’m still visiting the site every day because for every banana split you design Electrolux will donate $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. It’s a bit of silliness at the start of the day but it only takes 2 minutes and it helps raise awareness for a good cause.

On the other hand if you’re dreaming about the weekend but don’t have plans go to the Dinner Explorer which will tell you what event’s are coming up and give you ideas for dinner party recipes, music, activities and decorations. Don’t be surprised if after browsing the dinner explorer you start trying to come up with your own suggestions.
