| Aww look at the little thing. So cute, yet so tasty. It’d go great with roasties and a couple o’ Yorkshire puds! |
Have you ever felt tempted to roast a rabbit? Maybe grill a goose? I haven’t, promise, but just in case you are feeling hungry for a hare, I’ve compiled a little list of some of the surprisingly often eaten but still strange delicacies. So, if you have a fan oven then read on for the roasting times.
Note: Actual cooking times may vary. Temperature should be at 175 with the exception of Goose (160; they just can’t take the heat). The times below are in minutes, not seconds. Don't be thinking that you can roast a duck in the same time it takes to boil the kettle!
Rabbit 70
Pheasant 100
Duck 130
Goose 170
Hare 170
While you’re contemplating which gravy would be best for a goose pie, why not have a gander at our cookers page?
