We’ve seen steam cookers and steam washing machines, but now it’s time for the steam dishwasher! This week LG has unveiled its new steam dishwasher with TrueSteam™ technology. The appliance delivers a powerful dishwashing performance that frees you from ever having to prewash your dishes.
TrueSteam™ creates high-temperature steam particles and injects them from carefully positioned pressure nozzles. The particles attach themselves to the grease and grime on the dishes, then temperatures quickly rise to melting point, so by the time the entire cycle is finished, the dishes are spotless.
The built-in steam generator manages the temperature and pressure of the steam so particles are powerful enough to tackle the toughest, burnt on, dried up food remains. This really cuts down on water usage so it makes dishwashing cheaper and more cost effective.
With the appliance you also have a Steam Care cycle for more delicate dishes. Plus, the Steam Dual Spray function enables the upper and lower racks to use independent water pressures which means you can run a single wash tailored to multiple dish types. For example, robust dirty dishes in the bottom rack and crystal glass in the top.
