Let’s get this Beko show on the road!

It was just like any other mid-May morning, the sun was trying to poke through the clouds, but the rain was ever so slightly winning.  However, for the team at Appliances Online today was a day like no other.  Today the Beko Road Show had hit town – a big blue bus bustling and brimming over with appliances was parked in the car park ready to showcase the latest and greatest Beko models.  And what a show they had put on the road!

Every staff member, from our lovely call centre staff to the people who run the website were invited to hop on board and look around the magical bus.

I love appliances.  I write about them all day long and I know my stuff in the wonderful world of white goods.  I get my kicks when I visit a friend’s house and they have a new freezer I can play with because yes, I am just that cool.  So, when Beko came along with a bus load of ovens, washing machines and fridge freezers I could barely contain myself.  Imagine Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when she wanted to have everything.  That is what I was like when I saw the bus – it was my chocolate factory.

The whole day was so factual and enjoyable – as new models are currently being launched by Beko it was a great chance to get really hands on and learn some really cool facts about one of our most popular brands.  Did you know that 1 in every 5 washing machines sold in the UK is a Beko?  Or that they have just launched an incredibly energy efficient A+++++ rated washing machine (WMB81445L) which will wash 2 loads for the price of 1?  No, I didn’t either until I hopped on board the fun bus and explored the latest range.

Beko’s philosophy is to ‘Let Life Happen’ which is clearly taken very literally as with each of their models a feast of programmes and technologies are available, all of which are designed around the appliance taking on the hard work, not you.

I was pretty disappointed when the bus drove away, taking all of the lovely shiny new and impressively designed appliances with it.  I hope it won’t be too long before the bus comes back to visit the Appliances Online team. Thank you Beko!
