I am going camping this summer. There, I said it. I’ve got to go now, now I’ve said that. I’m a man of my word. Plus, I haven’t been in years. And with the August bank holiday creeping over the horizon, there’s no better excuse to go.
If you’ve planned a camping trip this summer then you might just be interested in this. If not, then you really should be interested anyway because this is pretty frickin’ awesome. This is the iMove Your Hotplate portable hob designed by Chan Hyun Park.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking the hobs look like a couple of ping pong paddles. You’re thinking about all the things you could do with it. You’re saying “I could play ping pong with a raw meatball and cook it that way.” And “I could buy a few of these and start a ping-pong-meatball-cooking championship. It’ll be huge.” Right? Well, that’s what I was thinking.
Apart from ping-ponging meatballs, the iMove Your Hotplate would be an ideal addition to your camping equipment. Sleek, stylish and compact, it’s easy to carry and easy to clean. But as it’s a concept hob, you won’t be able to get your hands on it just yet. One can only dream...
Setting itself apart from portable induction hobs and gas/electric camping stoves on the market, the iMove Your Hotplate allows you to move each individual hob separately. So you can take your bubbling pasta sauce for walkies and leave the spaghetti to simmer in peace. Or you could get some practice in for the ping-pong-meatball-cooking championship. It’s up to you.
