The World's Most Glamorous Fridge Freezer

I love sparkly things – I’m not going to lie. In my world, everything is prettier with sparkles on it. So, imagine my excitement when I came across the Samsung Massimo Zucchi Fridge Freezer, the result of collaboration between the technology giant and an Italian jewellery designer.

The fridge freezer has a completely luxurious exterior – LED lights make encrusted gems glisten across the surface of the two doors, and the handles are a pink-gold colour, complete with vertical rows of sparkling jewels.  The overall fascia of the appliance has been created by bid printing – a new technology that develops texture by melting ink into the glass; it’s designed to emulate the flow of water as light reflects onto the surface. So, in other words, it’s very pretty, and very unusual!

Inside, dual LED lighting ensures that your fresh and frozen produce are basked in a museum-style glow, and there are ten individual smart sensors to monitor the condition of the appliance. It also has a Twin Cooling System, which fans the fridge and freezer sections independently, keeping the freezer air dry and the fridge air humid.

A particularly cool feature is the Mini Drinks Bar, which is situated separately from the main fridge. It has a stainless steel cooling cover, and offers you instant access to drinks without even having to open the door of the fridge. Handy for the odd bottle of Dom Pérignon!
