The opinions of our customers are extremely important to us here at Appliances Online, and so we want to develop a team of customer reviewers who can create videos about the appliances that we sell, and share their honest thoughts and opinions with the world. Of course, we want to reward you for your hard work, so if you’re lucky enough to be selected to make a video for us, the product that you’re reviewing will be delivered to your home, and be yours to keep forever! To be in with a chance of becoming a reviewer, all you need to do is submit a demo video that reviews an appliance that you already own.
This week, the Samsung RFG23DERS American fridge freezer is up for grabs. This appliance really is the ultimate in amazing refrigeration. How do I submit my entry?
Step 1 - Create an ‘audition’ style video review to demonstrate your skills. For tips, check out Yossi’s video.
Step 2 - Upload your video to YouTube, and then submit the link to our special tab on the Appliances Online Facebook page. Be sure to tell us on your entry form what kind of appliance you’d love to review and keep.
Step 3 - From all of the submissions, a lucky few people will be chosen to review brand new products for us when they are released. By submitting one ‘audition’ demo review now, you will be considered for future product reviews – ensuring that you receive and review a product that you really want.
What should my video be about?
It can be about any big appliance you have in your kitchen. Steer clear of smaller appliances like kettles or toasters – we want you to have lots of features to talk about, so bigger appliances are better.
It doesn’t have to be an appliance that you purchased from us, but if we do sell the model, you’ll get extra bonus points!
Talk about 2-3 major features that you want everyone to know about your appliance.
If there’s anything you wish that your appliance could do that it doesn’t, or any function that you don’t like, be sure to include it – these points are also important.
It should be 2-4 minutes long.
How should I film my video?
Use any video camera, or even your mobile phone (try to hold it landscape for a better view).
Be sure to get the whole product in the shot, and zoom in to highlight key features.
You don’t have to be in the video, but we would like to see your lovely faces, even if it’s just for a moment or two when the video begins.
Feel free to edit your videos, add titles and be inventive – we want to see you be creative!
How do I find out if I have been chosen to review a product?
This week’s reviewer will be announced live on Friday 26th August at 4pm. The chosen reviewer will receive the Samsung RFG23DERS American fridge freezer, and be asked to make 2 – 3 video reviews about the product, which will be used on some of our websites.
