If you’re a regular reader or member of the Appliances Online Official Blog Fan Club, or AOOBFC as we like to call it, you’ll know all about the content team at appliances online and our thirst for appliance knowledge. Not afraid to journey into the unknown, we’re willing to travel the length and breadth of the country on the hunt for product information. Our latest destination – BSH.
But who are BSH? No, not BHS the retail establishment with brands across the UK, BSH the appliance consortium made up of Bosch, Neff and Siemens.
Getting the chance to visit these three titans of the industry all under the one roof was an opportunity we simply couldn’t pass up.
So, off to Milton Keynes we went, pen and pencil in hand, ready to soak up all the juicy appliance goodness we possibly could.
On arrival, I feel I can speak for everyone in saying we were totally swept of our feet by the hospitality we received from the lovely folks at BSH – no request was too much, no question to trivial, no answer too silly.
After a presentation about the brand and its roots, we were treated to a lights show that was described by one team member as “on a par with Disneyland”. The two days were then neatly split up into brand specific training, concentrating on Bosch, Siemens and Neff individually.
From getting stuck into some serious cooking in Neff’s kitchen, to weighing out laundry with Bosch, we were given the chance to get some real hands on experience with the appliances.
The wealth of knowledge we gained from this trip is priceless! It’s the unique expert tips we gained – like knowing that all Bosch, Siemens and Neff products are fitted with a detachable power cable – as well as those small details – like knowing that all Siemens products use the same colour shade of blue neon lighting while Bosch use red – that will help to set us apart from other appliance retailers. With all this new information, there aren’t many questions about Bosch, Siemens or Neff that’ll faze us.
