The no. 1 benefit of owning a condenser dryer is its flexibility. Unlike vented models which needs to be next to an exterior wall, the only installation requirement a condenser dryer needs is a plug socket.
Condenser Tumble Dryers
On the whole, condenser tumble dryers are relatively energy efficient with energy ratings as high as A+++.
As long as you clean the condenser about five times a year (more often for heavy users) and empty the lint filter after every use, your condenser dryer will continue to run economically.
Some models, like Bosch’s revolutionary Logixx WTW86560GB on the right, do all the cleaning for you, making them the most efficient condenser dryers on the market.
As well as improved efficiency, a lot of our condenser dryers have large drums, allowing you to get the drying done in one load instead of 4. A 9kg drying load like the one in the LG RC9011A means you can dry 27 t-shirts, or 6 large bath towels in one go. Not bad at all!
If you'd like some more choice, take a look at all our tumble dryers.
A lot of condenser dryers allow you to drain the condenser water away externally. No need to keep emptying the container, you can hook it up to your water pipe. Perfect if you’re planning on putting it next to your washing machine because you can use the same waste pipe.
