AEG gas hobs might be a small category of products, but they still offer a good bit of variety within the three models they currently offer.

Each of them sports a strong stainless steel surround. A very good looking base to start with, though the devil is always in the details. All gas models come with cast iron pan supports, which not only look great, but provide a very sturdy base to cook from. They’ll stand up to some pretty harsh treatment, so you can cook with confidence.

The control dials are lined in a black surround which gives a nice sophisticated feel to the whole appliance, though the AEG HG654320NM doesn’t have this. Instead the bevelled control dials are laid stark against the stainless steel background. Though it doesn’t quite offer as much definition, it does feel wonderfully simple and elegant.
