The Hoover tumble dryers we have are either 8kg or 9kg in drum size, which is plenty for a large family while still giving you the extra elbow room your clothes need to get a good tumble going. It’s no good having all your clothes squeezed in, they need room to breathe and in a Hoover dryer they’ll have it in spades.

While Hoover favour condenser tumble dryers they do offer vented models as well, so whatever your installation needs, they have it covered. The condenser models from Hoover tend to be slightly better for energy efficiency which is worth bearing in mind when you’re choosing. Though the vented models are generally less fuss when it comes to maintenance so it’s totally up to you and what works best in your kitchen or utility room.
All of Hoover’s models offer sensor drying which is a far superior method than the old timed drying. This uses sensors inside the drum (as the name suggests) and can detect the level of moisture in all of the clothes. This prevents the tumble from over-doing it and crisping up your favourite shirt, but it also gives you the option to leave a little extra moisture in there and keep them nice and supple which really helps with the ironing.
