Most vented dryers come with a hose to expel the hot air, although so can vent through the door like the Indesit IS31V. If you are using a vent hose, this needs to be attached to an opening in an outward facing wall or placed out of a window. Most hoses are between 1.5 - 2 meters long, so there is some room to play with. It’s worth noting that vent hoses need to be kept free of kinks, to prevent moisture from building up in the creases.
