Candy CFBF3050EK Fridge Freezer
The Candy CFBF3050EK is a built in fridge freezer, so will sit behind a cupboard door. At 54cm, it’s slightly smaller in width than an average model so will integrate into most kitchen units. The appliance doors are easily reversible, so you can switch them around to match whatever way your cupboard doors open.
The fridge (at 156 litres) is bigger than the freezer, so you have more space for fresh food and drink. You’ve got 4 shelves in total, and 3 of them are adjustable to help you fit taller items. It also comes with automatic defrost –because of the cold temperature, small drops of ice can form. This feature will melt it away, making it easier to clean.
The freezer holds a decent 78 litres, split over 4 drawers. They pull right out too so you can easily fill them. A great thing is that it’s fully frost free; so no need to spend time defrosting. You’ll also notice that food will keep colour and texture when frozen, and they won’t freeze up together.
The A+ energy rating shows that this is a pretty efficient model. It costs less than 9p a day to run; much cheaper than an older fridge freezer. You can actually save a bit of money on your energy bill when you upgrade. As far as noise goes, it’s received a rating of 46dB. That is a pretty average noise level for a fridge freezer, but as it will be hidden behind a door it will be much quieter.
