It’s all about the steam with the LG D1454TF. As you know, steam is hotter than water, so, by using its cleverly placed steam jets, this dishwasher can quickly remove dried-on stains without the need for pre-rinsing. The SmartRack in the D1454TF really will help you to load all sorts of kitchenware. All of the tongs and prongs in both large baskets can be folded up and down to accommodate different sized pots and plates.
The fold down cup rack provides double the space to load cups and mugs, while the third shallower basket at the top of the dishwasher is perfect for cutlery, flatware and large utensils. This tray can be removed completely if more space is needed in the upper basket. Even the cutlery basket can be split in two to become two independent baskets.
By eliminating the belt and pulley that you’ll find on most dishwashers, and replacing it with a Direct Drive motor, the D1454TF doesn’t have as many parts, making it less susceptible to breakdowns and practically silent. Its so quiet in fact, it has a noise level rating of just 38dB that’s quieter than an average library! And it has even been awarded the ‘Quiet Mark’, a mark of approval by the Noise Abatement Society. Therefore providing you with a healthier stress free, peaceful home environment, which is particularly helpful if you have an open plan living area.
Thanks to this slimline inverter Direct Drive motor, the LG has around 10 litres more space than a conventional dishwasher. This extra room is great for awkward, oversized dishes and has allowed LG to add in that amazing 3rd top basket for your utensils.
