Hotpoint DE47X

The DE47X looks great and is built into your kitchen space to complement any style you might choose. It’s a visual dream, perfectly combining fingerprint-resistant stainless steel with stark, solid black to create a great bit of engineering. The control panel is simple and understated with an LED display for a 24 hour programmable timer. No bells and whistles here to confuse you when you are trying to cook the after-work dinner!

But can it do the job? The answer is a resounding yes. The top conventional oven has a Solarplus twin variable grill, which is quicker and 20% more efficient than a conventional grill, heating up fully in just 15 seconds!

The main oven is powerful and comfortably holds over 60 litres, which is more than enough for general day to day cooking. The Air Flow Cooling Fan ensures an even temperature throughout so you won’t have to worry about which is the best shelf for the chips! Along with a slow cook setting and defrost option, you’ll be tempted to really explore the boundaries of your culinary expertise with this appliance.

Please Note: This is a built in double oven so requires to be installed in a tall eye-level unit.

"Excellent Oven"

Pros: Quiet, Easy to use, Good build quality, Value for money

"Bought this as it was largest Double Oven. Very happy with appearance, performance and ease of use.

Only slight downside is that the temperature for each dial is printed on the dial itself - so if you're short (like me) it can be difficult to see the exact temperature you've set.

Other than that, I'm extremely pleased with this oven - I do a lot of cooking - both baking and grilling and this does the job superbly."

"i have never bought ant thing made by hotpoint be for but i looked at a lot of cookers and i found hotpoint did the largest oven as i have a big family and do a lot of baking.my other cooker i bought didnt cook eveni never liked it so i wasnt happy till i change it.i just wished some one would have told me about this cooker i carnt fault it its the best buy for a long time and i would give it 100%satisfactory"

"This oven looks good and is easy to use. I was however disappointed with the build quality of the racks in the main oven. I found that they were wedged hard in, and when I tried to pull them out they scored and damaged the self clean panels leaving black/grey dust over the bottom of the oven. I reported the problem to Indesit/Hotpoint and their engineer called in 2 days. Happily he replaced all panels and racks in both ovens."

Great roomy oven.

Yes, I have to stretch up to see numbers on dial but this is cancelled out by overall performance.
