Induction technology is much more effective and efficient than electric or gas cooking. Simply put, by creating a magnetic field that generates the heat through the base and sides of the pan, whatever you are cooking will get hotter much quicker. This, of course, means electric energy and time is used so much more effectively, saving you money in the long run and generally making cooking a whole lot easier.
There are a whopping 17 different power levels to give you the most effective heating possible which are quickly and easily controlled through the touch panel at the front.
There’s a handy heat indicator light but one of the beauties of induction technology is that because the pan is the heating element, the hob itself stays cool to the touch. This makes cleaning ridiculously simple and prevents accidents. Just in case, however, there’s a child lock too so curious hands won’t get into trouble.
You won't need expensive pans to go on your induction hob, as long as they are made of a ferrous metal - i.e. a magnet will stick to them, they will be fine, even a cheap set from a supermarket will do.
