"The Fridge itself is excelllent, however we are down to three drawers in the freezer because the second drawer is very difficult to close. So we have discontinued using the second drawer as once pulled out you cannot get it back in place without a great struggle. We phoned the company who sent a replacement drawer but this also has the same problem. Hence we are now waiting for a part to place under the drawer to hopefully give us a second drawer back again that we can use. I notice other people have had the same problem. Hotpoint have been manufacturing the Iced Diamond for a number of years so why can`t they get this right? It is a great disappointment to us and has caused us a lot of grief."

"Does what it says on the tin"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, compact design

"I read some very odd reviews on this site before going ahead with this purchase but decided to rely on my own judgment and I'm glad I did. I needed a narrower fridge/freezer to fit a specific gap so the choice is limited anyway. However, this does everything I wanted.

Granted, the doors do need a good tug to open them (but hopefully this is a sign of a good seal) and it does gurgle a little at times. The freezer capacity is a little limited due to space being taken up be the "frost free" element but it's a compact design so something's gotta give.

The built-in ice cube trays aren't much use but who buys a freezer on the quality of the ice trays??

At the end of the day, it fits into the right gap, it keeps things in the fridge cold, things in the freezer frozen, isn't too noisy and isn't unattractive (as far a white, upright, fridge-freezers go!)"

"Worst purchase ever"

Cons: poor capacity

"It is as attractive as a any fridge freezer could be and is fairly quiet, the features are good BUT.....the capacity is very very poor. I have no more space than in my previous appliance which was over a foot smaller in height. There is a lot of space wasted particularly in the freezer..........the sloping roof in the fast freeze section, the space taken up by the drawers etc.

The look on the website was very deceptive, had I have seen this in a showroom I would not have purchased it."

"I really like this frost free fridge freezer although it could be doing with an extra shelf in the fridge section! Only other problem is the plastic trim on the bottom shelf of the fridge (above the fruit and veg boxes) keeps coming off when I pull out the fruit and veg boxes. It's a well built fridge freezer ideal for 2 people but wouldn't think it would hold enough for a family - we have another freezer. The ice cube holders as part of the drawers is ingenious but you have to be careful to only fill one third way up or the water will spill all over the place when you put it back into the freezer!"
