Indesit FIMD23IX Electric Double Oven

This double oven is a real family-pleaser. With an impressive combined capacity of 100 litres, you’ll have no trouble fitting in weekend feasts with all the extras. The varied cooking functions offer plenty of choice when it comes to feeding the household. There’s circulaire roasting for the perfect joint of meat, a slow cook setting for casseroles and stews, a grill for healthy cooking and even a defrost setting for frozen food.

Available in a stylish stainless steel finish with digital display, this model will feel right at home in modern kitchens. And to make it easier to keep in shape, the interior is fitted with stay-clean liners. These handy little things absorb grease and dirt to be burnt off later at high temperatures, leaving you less to do and more time to relax.

For added safety, there’s an airflow cooling fan to reduce the temperature after cooking and a double-glazed door window will keep the door cool. Excellent if you have children running about.

"cleaning the outer oven has proven quite a project.

it stays very smeary & also all of the temperature have come of , so its a guess as to what temp i am setting it too !!!

despite telephoning the supplier & asking for replacements which they do apparently do, no body has bothered to contact me to resolve this matter, very poor customer service from indesit !!"

"Its a good one"

Pros: Quiet, Easy to use, Good build quality, Value for money, the controls dont get so hot that you cant touch, easy to fit, nice looking, easy to clean

"This replaced a more expensive double oven and in truth it was a lot better than the more expensive one it replaced. It was so much more easy to use and it did exactly as it said it would. The top oven is great as its nice a roomy and the bottom oven has the fan and so quicker cooking times. A really nice machine. And cheap too in comparison."

"shame you cant tell what temp the oven is"

"have had this oven for nearly two years now and have a couple of problems with it

1 cleaning the stainless steel also wipes off the all the decals so you have to guess what the temp is . makes for interesting cooking

2 oven is hotter towards the rear."
