Hotpoint FZS150G

This Hotpoint FZS150G freezer comes in a cool graphite colour and would be a great looking addition to your kitchen – whether you’re matching it to other graphite appliances, or just looking for a statement piece. It’s not too tall at just under five feet, so it won’t look enormous in your kitchen like some large capacity freezers can.

You can easily pack all of your frozen goodies into the 5 transparent drawers, and they’re no trouble to clean too because they’re fully removable. When you’ve been out at the supermarket buying in bulk, you’ll find the super freeze function very useful to freeze your food quickly and protect the taste and flavours.

"Good value"

"I'm not perhaps the best person to review a modern freezer, as this replaces a a 25-year-old one, and I don't expect us to be so fortunate this time.

First impressions are great - I would certainly call it quiet, and the clear-fronted drawers are a great improvement on what we had before.

Just 2 complaints: Why have controls and warning lights arranged so you can only see them with the door open? and secondly, and perhaps more seriously, the 'stop' on the top drawer in particular is a design disaster. When I opened the freezer for the first time, to have a look, before I had even plugged it in, I pulled the drawer out and it smashed on the floor. The manufacturer gave us a new one as a goodwill gesture, but it won't be too long before it happens again."

"Does the job and looks goods"

"Although dimensions seemed big, the reality was it was smaller than expected. Its a nice looking freezer but you know its on - I initally thought someone was using the microwave! I managed to crack one of the drawers within a few days of having it but that was my fault as I was trying to jam too much in as usual. But it speaks about the brittleness of the plastic used that it could happen. Still it does the job and doesn't need defrosting - a big bonus."

"a fair freezer"

Pros: Good build quality, Value for money

"To be honest it's in the utility room, so I've no idea if it's quiet enough to live with in the kitchen.

It comes with 2 ice trays, but they don't both fit into the freezer tray compartment side by side - they're about a centimeter too wide, which is a bit rubbish.

All the drawers move freely and easily and there's a goodly amount of space.

It does the job of standing there, looking big and gray, keeping the frozen food frozen remarkably well.

What more could you want from a freezer?"

"Very quiet and features are good. Very attactive and blend into the room nicely. Like the alarm that let you know if the door is left open to long.

The only disappointed part is the ice department as the 2 trays does not fit in any format."
