GR6GVKP Gas Cooker

Beautiful and functional, the Leisure GR6GVKP gas cooker has a wonderful range of facilities for classic cooking and goes beautifully in a traditional kitchen.

On the gas hob burners come in 3 different sizes, for different sizes of pots and pans. The pan supports are made of cast iron pan treated with high gloss for a gleaming finish. This model comes with a diverse Teflon-coated griddle, the perfect environment for pancakes.

This cooker benefits from 2 conventional ovens, controlled by the convenient five button electronic LED timer. This allows you to cook to a timescale and start and stop cooking whenever you choose.

The main oven is conventional – great for traditional style cooking. It has an interior light and a glass window too. The window is heat reflective to keep the exterior from getting too hot – wonderful for households with children.

The top oven has a full width grill and conventional oven which offers dynamic cooking possibilities and extra space for family dining occasions or dinner parties.

Inside the ovens, the appliance benefits from smooth AA graded enamel and cook clean catalytic liners. These make cleaning a easy by preventing difficult to shift burnt on food.

"worst cooker ever used"

"The gas oven is slow to cook and burns things at the back whilst things at the front are raw. The grill function only has one setting ie it is either on or off not variable. It is a nightmare to keep clean every speck of dust or oil shows, although it is easy to clean i would rather not have to do it several times a day. The oven fails to cook even the simplest of things without an extra 20-30 mins cooking time and to achieve even this it must be cooked at gas mark 8-9. The clock must be set if you wish to turn the oven on at all, after preheating the gas blows out and has to re-light itself ever time the door open. Terrible dont buy."

"Mini character cooker"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, looks good

"A lovely looking cooker. Ideal for those who want range style with minimum space. Love the griddle and door mounted roasting rack (gas model). Not convinced particularly in small oven of the cooker reaching temperature fully. But sometimes you just have to get to know the individual cooker and work with it. (Last cooker took less time than indicative recipe times this one takes longer). Found it slightly confusing that if simmering you had to turn control through max to turn it off but getting used to that now and understand it is so you don't accidentally turn it right off when simmering.

Black finish does require a little more TLC to keep it pristine as every bit of dust settles and shows up but worth it for its characterful appearance."
