Belling GT756
The Belling GT756 isn’t the fanciest of cookers but it does the job. If there aren't a lot of bods in your house, the 39 litre main oven, 16 litre top oven / grill and 4 gas burners give you the perfect amount of cooking space.
Both compartments use conventional cooking meaning you can pop a large lasagne in the main oven for tea or whack in a jacket potato up top if you’re feeling a little peckish. They’ll both come out with a lovely crispy exterior and perfectly piping hot inside. The top oven can also be used as a grill; it’s the perfect size for a couple of bacon rashers. As it’s temperature controlled, you can adjust it to cook your bacon as crispy as you’d like, too.
If a bit of pasta and sauce is more your thing, look to the 4 gas burners on the top of the cooker. In 3 different sizes, you can place a big pan of tortellini on one whilst your arrabbiata sauce simmers away next to it. If you’re low on space when it comes to plating up, lower the glass lid and you’ll have plenty of room to serve up dinner.
When it comes to cleaning, the enamel oven walls and hob supports make it a doddle. Simply wipe it down with a warm, damp sponge to keep it clean and tidy.
Plus, all burners and both ovens have flame failure devices. These cut off the gas supply should the flame go out, keeping you safe so don’t worry about gas leaks.
