The freezer has an impressive 178 litres of space. There are compartments for lots of different foods, so you’ll find a place for everything from pizza boxes to ice cream. You don’t even have to defrost it either, as the entire freezer is frost free. It’s definitely going to save you more time and effort, letting you get on with other things.

The sleek brushed steel finish looks great and is definitely eye catching. Highlighted in the door is a very cool LED digital panel. From here you can control the temperature of fridge and freezer and see exactly what settings you have to keep your food at the perfect setting, so it lasts for as long as possible.

"Good choice I reckon"

"Only been in a couple of weeks so can't compare long term performance, but seems to do the job nicely. The next few weeks over Christmas will put it to the test - ideally one might wish for a bit more freezer space. Didn't have time to view in store, and one disappointment was that the sides don't match the stainless steel doors, and as ours is freestanding and visible front and side this is a con. I expect you have to pay a lot more for one that's completely stainless steel, and compared to others in the same price range this is probably good value. LG reliable, too, according to Which?"

"Very pleased with this product. Just what I wanted, a large side by side fridge freezer without one of those ice cold water dispensers which I definately didn't want! Fridge has plenty of space but one more shelf would have been helpful. The freezer holds far more than I imagined from first impression. Great that it stands almost flush to the wall with no unsightly gaping space from side view at the back."

"nice looking fridge / freezer"

"we have previously had 2 other american fridge freezers ( both much more expensive ) but we move every couple of years and leave the item as part of the sale !!! . With this in mind we purchased the "budget" LG stainless steel and I can honestly say it looks better and performs just as well as a £2000 fridge / freezer .
