The Hotpoint HUG61X gas cooker’s stylish stainless steel finish makes it an appliance good looking enough to grace your kitchen with its presence.
Because the hob is gas, the heat is instantly controllable, and the different size burners also make it possible for you to match your pan size to the heating element. The hob features the Flame Failure Safety Device, which ensures that if the flame is extinguished then the gas is immediately cut off, which should minimize the fear of gas leaks. The enamel pan supports should also be pretty easy to restore to their original sparkly condition when you clean them.
The top cavity in this cooker is 23 litres, and it also houses the grill, which is very useful as it means you can cook, roast or bake in the main oven whilst grilling in the top.
In the lower oven, you’ll find a spacious capacity of 60 litres, which is plenty of room to cook numerous delicious dishes for the family. Because both ovens are conventional, they are hotter at the top than the bottom, making it possible to cook dishes that require slightly different cooking temperatures at the same time in the same cavity.
Both ovens also feature catalytic liners which makes cleaning a doddle, as they attract grease and dirt, and then burn it away when the oven is used at high temperatures, so no scrubbing required.
