The simple design of the Indesit IDCE8450B is testament to its outstanding performance. This condenser dryer doesn’t need to look posh or overly technical. It knows it’s great at its job, and that’s enough. The extra large porthole is hidden behind the dryer’s flush exterior door. What’s great about a flat fronted dryer is its flexibility. It will sit flush with your kitchen cabinets if you don’t want a large door sticking out. Similarly, the IDCE8450B would be perfect in a utility room. The water bottle is located on the top left of the dryer, so it’s easily accessible if you’ve got the dryer in a tight corner.
The range of programmes on the IDCE8450B cannot be beaten. There's a cycle for jeans, for woollens, for outdoor wear and 3 different sports cycles. The Special Sports setting includes a light dry, an intensive dry and a special shoes option. Sopping wet trainers? Scrubbed them for 45 minutes in the sink and they’re soaked through? Pop them onto the sports rack, which is included with the Indesit IDCE8450B, and select the Sports Shoes dry.
And let’s not forget the Refresh option. Without using any heat at all, the IDCE8450B will freshen up clothes and fabrics that have been worn once. It is particularly useful for laundry that may have been in storage for a while, and smells a bit musty.
With a 24 hour delay timer, you can make the most of such a useful tumble dryer. Why not pre-set it to start early in the morning, then use the audible end of programme buzzer as your alarm clock. No? Don’t worry, you can always turn the buzzer off.
