The Indesit Start IWDC6125 washer dryer helps you change the way you treat your denims with a dedicated jeans wash. It uses lower temperatures to ensure colour doesn’t fade and fabrics don’t shrink. There’s also a specialist wool wash, which can save you a fortune on dry cleaning bills. The delicate cycle is just as good, keeping your silk and lace in good condition by using gentle spins and low temperatures.
With a wash capacity of 6kg and drying capacity of 5kg this machine is great for a couple or small family. It’ll wash around 30 T-shirts and dry the equivalent of 15 wet T-shirts. The reason the drying capacity is smaller than the wash – because clothes need more space to move around when drying.
Let’s not forget drying programmes themselves. The 3 level sensor drying system means you can choose exactly how dry you want your fabrics. You can choose to leave clothes slightly damp, making them much easier to iron, or opt for Cupboard Dry. This means they’re completely dry and ready to be put away. Sensor drying stops the cycle once the selected moisture level has been reached, so your fabrics won’t be over-dried or damaged.
To allow you to control all these great features, there’s a handy 12 hour delay timer. Use it to delay the machine for 3, 6 or 9 hours depending on your needs and get your laundry working around your schedule.
