Range cookers are guaranteed to become a focal point in any kitchen and if people are going to be drawn to it naturally, you might as well make it as good looking as possible. This is where the Indesit KP9F11SKG_BK comes in.
It may be superficial to say, but WOW it looks great. The black finish gives the strong lines a real presence and the enormous glass door is fantastically well proportioned in order to finish the facia off perfectly. It’s a traditional cooker with a contemporary style so will fit in with a surprising array of kitchens.
Up top, the hob comes with a base of stainless steel and each of the 5 burner hobs is encapsulated by cast iron pan supports. They’re wonderfully heavy duty so they’ll stand up to punishment from your pans pretty well, but if you fancy yourself as a bit of a chef then you’ll feel like you’re in a top flight kitchen while flicking your frying pan on top of these babies.
Through the double glazed oven door (I mentioned it was gorgeous didn’t I?) lies the heart of the cooker: the 68 litre conventional oven, which is plenty to provide for a large family. Conventional heat gives you higher temperatures at the top of the cavity and lower temperatures at the bottom, so you can really make use of the variation in intensities with an oven of this proportion.
