Hotpoint LST216A

There’s always a battle for space, whether it’s the final frontier or your finished kitchen. The LST216A is a slimline dishwasher that offers you 10 place settings and 6 programmes contained within an appliance less than 45cm wide, so it really is the logical choice to go for if space is a concern. It won’t drown out the radio either. At a relatively quiet noise level of 49dB, you’ll still be able to hear (and belt out) your favourite tunes without lots of background disturbance.

There really is choice for everyone whatever your schedule.

The intensive wash will really go to town on that lasagne dish, or if you’re on the fly you can select Rapid 35’, which does what it says on the tin; a quick wash of lightly dirty crockery in only 35 minutes. Feel free to put in the fancy glasses too because the electronic water softener will ensure extra care is taken and they’ll still be perfect for that day when the Queen finally visits.

And installation has never been easier thanks to a unique hinge mechanism and fast fix system, which lets you slot your appliance in without lots of DIY. You’ll have a harder time choosing a front décor panel than actually fitting it.

"A very good, quiet, efficient machine. Easy to install, instructions easy to follow, so quiet we wondered if it was actually working. A good idea you can open the door to insert more crocs when the programme has already commenced. For a slimline integrated machine its amazing how much it wiil hold. A very good purchase."

"Being the first dishwasher I have used in 10 years I can't really compare to larger or other models.

However I have been pleased so far, there is ample space for 1 -2 peoples usage and generally do not need to use it daily.

The rinse function assists with this.

Fairly quite and pleased for the price with sufficient functions.

Would recommend for others looking for slimline dishwasher."

large connector

"The instructions for attaching the door were poor but the machine itself is excellent.

The depth of the machine was slightly larger than our previous one and the pipework behind it on the wall had to be moved. The connector which attaches the machine to the water inlet pipe was quite bulky and this added an extra inch or so to the depth - well worth remembering if your inlet pipe is directly behind the machine on the wall. We moved the pipe lower down so the connector could sit in the gap between the rear legs of the dishwasher. Perhaps all modern dishwashers have this bulky connector but it was not something I had catered for with my measurements. As always, triple check your dimensions before ordering. I have attached a picture of the connector to this review.

The capactity of the machine is very good despite the slimline size. Even our tallest plates and chopping boards now fit into the bottom rack without catching on the spinning parts.

Wasn't 100% sure about going with the Hotpoint brand but other reviews were positive and I would def. say that the build quality is very good and it feels like it will last a decent amount of time.

One final point, the legs on the machine are quite weak when at maximum height so be careful moving your dishwasher into place. They could quite easily buckle if you caught them on something.

Overall though I am very pleased and would recommend."
