"An Excellent Buy"

"This machine is excellent value for money. What I like about this machine is: it has a self-adjusting water level system, which means it only uses the amount of water needed to wash and rinse the laundry in relation to the particular load; and that you can use 'aqua wash' and knock this feature off if you want to use more water, to ensure the complete removal of detergent, thus caring for more delicate garments or clothes for kiddies and those with allergies. I also like the choice of programmes including the daily wash which lasts 29 mins, and the hand wash for more expensive clothes. I love the fast 1600 spin, and that you can adjust this. Obviously the faster the spin the louder the machine is, but I don't find this in any way intrusive. I think it would be a normal level for the strength of the spin, And it's as solid and as steady as a rock at 1600. Regarding the results, my clothes have come out beautifully washed, and have dried in no time. Overall, I think this machine is excellent value for money. It has the latest technology, but without having to pay the earth. One final note: the delivery went without hitch. The men were polite and helpful, and kept me fully informed regarding the time of arrival."

"So far so good"

"This is my second Hoover and I'm hoping that it will be as good as the first which apart from holidays was used at least once every day for more than 8 years.

So far so good. I've found the OPH616 simple to operate, it washes well, is very quiet and has a good selection of programmes some of which don't take long at all.

That said, I do have a few issues with it. Despite supposedly having the same measurements as the old machine we had huge difficulty getting it into the space in the kitchen - it's a much tighter fit and I can only assume that this has something to do with its more modern shape. Now that I've used it for nearly a month I would have preferred a more precise indication of programme progress on the display whilst it's in operation and would have found it useful if the instruction book had provided details of how long each programme took - also (and I never thought I'd say this) I miss the annoying beep my old machine had when it had finished!"

"good machine, but only use two washes 30degrees and 60 degrees cause only these two washes give maximum spin. To use other washes the washing comes out far too wet to go into a tumble dryer, ok if you can hang it on a line"
