Two ovens in a single cavity. Although the Hotpoint OS89DIX operates is a single cavity oven, with the insulating divider, you can split it in half to cook like a double oven. When it’s split in two, the 70 litre fan assisted oven benefits from two individually controlled electronically programmable timer, with time and temperature controls. Furthermore this appliance offers 4 intelligent programmes for cooking bread, roasts, cake and pizza.

Hotpoint OS897DIX

The Hotpoint OS897DIX offers 20% more space than a standard single oven with the same dimensions. You can cook on all four levels at the same time.

The 70 litre fan assisted oven can be used in an assortment of ways. If you want to use the full cavity to cook a chicken, you can. If you want to use the top to grill some juicy bacon, you can. And you can also use both the top and bottom cooking spaces at the same time without worrying about the transfer of flavours.

A suite of programmes are at your disposal, with everything from a cake function to a special pizza programme. These automatic programmes do the hard work for you so there’s no need to second guess temperatures.

What you cook in this oven is really only limited by your imagination and cooking prowess.

What’s more, this oven looks absolutely stunning in a modern kitchen with its fingerprint resistant triple glazed door and stainless steel finish. The stylish LCD display is the icing on the cake!

"We are very happy with this product - the oven capacity is great, 4 levels at once makes life so much easier when cooking for a family, the divider seems to work well and food cooks really well in it. Just wondering if we should have spent the extra for the pyrolytic version for ease of cleaning!"

"Be Careful"

"The product itself seems great. 240v mains appliance so no need for an electrician to wire it up. Two separate cooking areas. Nice looking unit.

The problem was I had 3 of them delivered due to them being faulty units the third of which did not even have a mains plug attached (not hard to fit but you expect to have one!!). I would seriously consider another manufacturer in future as 3 of 3 units having problems due to built quality is pretty poor."

"good design let down by poor quality"

"We had this oven fitted as part of a new kitchen in November. Functions well but is let down by the poor design of door hinges. Both hinges broke in February making the door not able to be closed. This was repaired by Hotpoint. Now in April one hinge has broken again.

I notice that another reviewer has had the same problem. We will be asking Hotpoint for a replacement oven or a lifetime warranty on the hinges as they are clearly not fit for purpose."

"Great oven except for fatal flaw"

"Excellent concept. Performs very well in both double oven and huge single modes. Perfect roast beef and yorkshires and roast potatoes completely hassle free. Two outstanding Christmas cakes. Now for the downside. The door is heavy and the hinges are poorly designed for the load they have to take. Both snapped 3 days before Christmas and Hotpint carry no spares."

"Dopey design"

"Pretty good appliance so far, only hiccup is,( and you will find this hard to believe) the minute minder does not work while the oven is on !!! It only works when the oven is off, so if you have something in the oven you can't time anything either in the oven or on the hob, how stupid is that?"
