Bosch PKE611C14D

A very attractive appliance, the Bosch PKE611C14D is an ceramic hob that comes in black glass and fits seamlessly into your kitchen worktop to provide you both with style and practicality.

There are 4 cook zones; 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large. So when you’ve got some soup to simmer or a big stir-fry you’ve got it covered. There are 9 different power levels and heat is almost instantaneous, so control is definitely in your hands. The controls are found on the right hand side, providing you with dials that are sturdy and easy to use.

A ceramic hob means an easy to clean hob. The smooth glass surface is quite simple to wipe down, plus the residual head indicators for each zone will let you know when it’s cool enough to touch.

"my first ceramic hob"

"This is the first ceramic hob i have ever bought and I love it. Nice controls,,, beautiful look to it and the glass glows red when heating. There is an indicator to show which plates are still hot after being switched off.

I'm a bit worried about how to clean it as I thought it would be just a simple wipe with a cloth, but even boiled water can leave a persistent mark that needs a proper cleaner on it. Other than that completely satisfied.

"Previously had ordinary stainless steel electric hob, so this one looks much better. Easy to use and heats up quickly. Only down side is that it seems to need cleaning every time after use. Not sure if this is true of all ceramic hobs. Other than that, it is an excellent product which I would definitely recommend."
