It comes with a full width grill – you can use it alongside the fan too – as well as some very handy easy clean enamel liners. These make cleaning down the oven so much easier. In fact Smeg have gone one step further and place a catalytic stay clean liner on the oven roof, so when you’re grilling your Sunday breakfast on the full width grill, you won’t have to suffer the consequences of some unruly bacon. The roof will cook itself clean!
The oven door is rather special as well. It’s double glazed so you have extra protection from the heat inside and the stainless steel facia and control panel is finger friendly to prevent those grubby marks from spreading. The control panel itself is beautifully laid out and features a mechanical minute minder so you can orchestrate your culinary adventures wonderfully.
Delving back inside we have a cooling system that keeps the fan at the back of the oven running after you’ve turned the heat off to ensure the oven cools down quickly and safely. Very handy indeed. And of course, you’ll have some rather sexy accessories such as a roasting/grill pan and extra chrome mesh shelves to really pack your oven with some punch.
